Tip of the Week: Granting GDS Access to a Memo in Memo Manager

ARC's Memo Manager allows you to grant access to your GDS (Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport). Granting access enables your GDS to view, add correspondence and attach supporting documentation to a specific memo. This is very beneficial when resolving or disputing a memo. Only the GDS associated with the ticket will be able to assist you in resolving your dispute and may be granted access to view the memo or ticket information.

When granting a GDS access to a memo, there must be a ticket associated with that memo. The associated ticket must be listed in the memo's Ticket Information section on the Memo Details tab. If there is no associated ticket, the GDS will not be able to view the memo, even if you have granted them access.

Remember, if you involve a GDS in a dispute, the responsibility of resolving the memo belongs to you, not the GDS. A GDS cannot dispute or pay a memo for you within Memo Manager. All disputes and payments in Memo Manager must be initiated by the issuing agency. If the GDS resolves a memo, it will do so outside of Memo Manager.
