Tip of the Week: The Importance of Renewing Passports in 2016

The State Department is urging anyone with passports that expire soon to renew as soon as possible. The State Department is expecting a surge in passport demand which could lead to longer wait times for new passport and renewal applications.

A major reason behind the increase in demand is the Real ID Act, which sets stricter requirements on identification for travel. The act introduces enhanced requirements for state driver’s licenses for travel.

For more information on renewing passports, please visit the ARC MarketPlace Blog article, Why Renewing Passports is Important in 2016.
