Effective with sales issued Monday, March 14, 2016 (PED 03-20-16), Dynamic Airways (054/2D) will begin accepting Discover as a form of payment through ARC.

2013 ARC Transaction History File Now Available for Purchase

ARC's Transaction History File containing your agency's transaction data for all of 2013 is now available for purchase on CD. Starting in April 2016, ARC will begin purging the oldest data from ARC's Document Retrieval Service (DRS), which provides online access to the past 39 months of ticketed transaction data.

ARC's Transaction History File provides you with your settled and voided transaction information for all PEDs in 2013. It comes equipped with free viewer software that allows you to easily search for a specific transaction, view it on screen and print it onto a single page. Plus, the software is self-contained—there's nothing to install.

You can import the Transaction History File into several popular software programs, including Microsoft Excel and Access, in order to create reports and manage, sort and analyze the data.

Tip of the Week: Guide to Making Group Bookings on ARC MarketPlace

Group bookings on tours and activities are an important part of your business and are possible through ARC MarketPlace. Next time you are making a group booking just follow these steps.

Note: ARC MarketPlace's partner, Viator, only allows bookings in groups of nine. To make a group booking, you will have to book the same tour in groups of nine until everyone in the group has been booked. This means that if you are booking for a group of 30 travelers, you will make four separate bookings.

To link the separate bookings of nine together you will need to use the special requirements field on the checkout page of each booking. To do this:

  1. Search for the tour that you would like to book for the group through the tours and activities area of ARC MarketPlace. Select the tour you are booking. Then, select the travel date.
  2. In the Enter total number of travelers section, you will select the age ranges for the first nine travelers. This can be a combination of multiple age ranges or all just one range (i.e., nine adults, or five adults and four children). After selecting the ages for the first nine passengers, you will select ADD TO CART.
  3. On the Secure Checkout page, under the Tours & Activities Details section, in the Special requirements field of the first booking, you will need to indicate this booking, will be tied to multiple bookings for a group.
  4. Once you have completed the first booking, you will need to make note of the Booking Reference Number found on the voucher. This number will be used in the special requirement field in subsequent bookings in order to tie them to the original booking.
  5. Navigate back to the same tour or activity and repeat the same steps. This time, enter the Booking Reference Number from the first booking into the Special requirements field and indicate that this will be part of a group. Repeat these steps until all of the members of the group are accounted for.

After you have made all of the bookings, contact the local supplier using the contact details found on the voucher and let them know that all parties in the separate bookings will be traveling together.
