Quarterly Subscription Fee: Travel Agency Service Fees (TASF)

The $23.99 quarterly subscription fee (third quarter of 2015, PEDs 07/05/15 through 09/27/15) for travel agency service fees will be debited from your designated ARC account on or after Thursday, October 15, 2015.

Only locations that issued a TASF during the quarter will be charged the fee. If your agency is signed up for TASF but remained inactive during the quarter, there will be no quarterly fee charged.

2015 Quarterly Transaction Fees – Third Quarter

This is a reminder about the agent/CTD transaction fee that is assessed on a quarterly basis. In 2015, the quarterly fee is set at $0.017 per transaction. An agency reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed a transaction fee. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions (per entity). A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against your ARC designated bank account on or after October 22. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.

Lao Airlines Now Accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club International and JCB

Effective with sales issued Monday, October 05, 2015 (PED 10/11/15), Lao Airlines (627/QV) will begin accepting American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club International and JCB as forms of payment through ARC.

Tip of the Week: Adding Messages in the Accreditation Tool

Did you know that you can communicate with the ARC accreditation specialist assigned to your submitted application using the Accreditation Tool?

  1. Log in to My ARC.
  2. Under "Tools," select "Accreditation" (make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled).
  3. On the main "Account Summary" page, click on the "Request Number" to open the application.
  4. Navigate to the "Messages" tab.
  5. Verify if there are any messages from the accreditation specialist advising of an application status change.
  6. To add a message, click the “Add Message” button.
  7. A "New Message" window will appear. Type your message in the text area and click the "Okay" button to attach.
