Upcoming My ARC/IAR Extended Outages

My ARC will be unavailable for an extended outage on Saturday, August 29, 2015, beginning at 10 a.m. EDT until Monday, August 31 at 7 a.m. EDT. This means that you will not be able to access My ARC or any of its tools, such as IAR and Memo Manager, during this scheduled time.

This full system outage is necessary in order to perform a database migration and security update, which will be done in two phases. The first phase is the database migration, which will take place the last weekend in August mentioned above.  The second phase will require another extended outage on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. EDT until Monday, September 21 at 7 a.m. EDT.

ARC realizes that these full system outages will impact your work with My ARC and all ARC tools and products supported behind My ARC. The intent of this advance notice is to provide you with adequate time to make any necessary schedule adjustments. Weekend dates were chosen to minimize the impact to My ARC users, because weekends have the lowest amount of user activity.  All systems are expected to be fully operational at 7 a.m. the following Monday morning.

Your understanding and patience are appreciated as we improve and further secure ARC's systems. Please share this information with others in your organization who may be impacted by these scheduled outages.


Expedited Orders of Travel Documents

The ARC warehouse (operated by RR Donnelley), which ships paper ticket stock, will be conducting an annual inventory on Friday, August 21, 2015. To ensure that your document order is not delayed, please note:

  • The processing deadline for all regular ticket orders is 12 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 20.
  • The processing deadline for all rush orders is 10 am EDT on Friday, August 21.

Tip of the Week: Credit Memos in Memo Manager

Do you have a credit memo in Memo Manager? In order to process the memo for payment in IAR, you have to accept the payment in full. To do this, please follow the below process:

  • On the Memo Detail screen click the “Pay” button.
  • IAR Payment Screen will be displayed, stating "Accepted amount is X.XX."* Click “Submit.”
  • A message will be displayed stating, “Are you sure you want to accept this memo?"
  • Click the “Yes button to save the changes.
  • A Success screen will display indicating the memo has been updated.
  • Click the “OK” button to exit.

* The credit memo will be reflected in your IAR report.
