ACTION REQUIRED: New Web Browser and Operating System Requirements for ARC Users

Data security is of the utmost importance to ARC. Effective August 1, 2015, access to all of ARC's tools (e.g., My ARC, IAR, Agency Memo Manager, DRS, etc.) will be limited to users of ARC-approved web browsers and operating systems. Users of non-approved browsers and operating systems will not be supported after August 1.

ARC is implementing this initiative because not all web browsers and operating systems offer the same level of security. Ensuring that the web browser, operating system and tools you use are up to date will not only help protect ARC's systems, but will also greatly help prevent your business from being exploited by cyber criminals.

If you are not using a browser and an operating system from the approved list below, you will need to upgrade as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will not be able to access ARC systems starting August 1.

Approved PC/Mac Operating Systems

  • Windows Vista SP2 or higher (includes Windows 7, 8 and 8.1)
  • OSX 10.8 or higher (includes v10.9 and 10.10)

Approved Web Browsers

  • Internet Explorer – Version 9 or higher
  • Safari – Version 6 or higher
  • Google Chrome – Version 40 or higher
  • Firefox – Version 34 or higher
  • Opera – Version 27 or higher

Approved Mobile Platforms – Operating Systems with Native (built in) Web Browsers

  • Android 5.0 or higher with native browser
  • iOS 8.1 or higher with native browser

Before upgrading your operating system, we strongly recommend that you consult with your IT support desk, or if you don't have one, we suggest you consult with an IT professional. Click here to learn the name of the web browser and operating system you are using. If you have additional questions, please reach out to our Customer Care Center at 1-855-816-8003.

Corsair Now Accepts UATP

Effective with sales issued on Monday, July 13, 2015 (PED 07/19/15), Corsair (923/SS) will accept UATP as a form of payment through ARC.

2015 Quarterly Transaction Fees – 2nd Quarter

We would like to make you aware of the agent/CTD transaction fee that is assessed on a quarterly basis. The 2015 quarterly fee is set at $0.017 per transaction. An agency reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed a transaction fee. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions (per entity). A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against your ARC designated bank account on or after July 23. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.

Tip of the Week: Going on vacation? Relax; we'll submit your "No Sales" Report for you!

When an IAR sales report does not contain any transactions (has no activity) and has not been authorized/submitted by the standard Tuesday 11:59 p.m. ET deadline (or Wednesday 11:59 p.m. ET during a week with an ARC-recognized Monday holiday), ARC will automatically submit a "No Sales" report on your behalf.

ARC auto submission of a "No Sales" report may only occur when all previous weeks' sales reports have already been authorized and submitted. All financial information on the Authorize and Submit screens of a "No Sales" report will reflect $0.00.

This ARC auto submission takes place in IAR after 1:00 a.m. ET when the system is taken down for routine daily maintenance. If you are reviewing your sales report between 11:59 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. ET and notice that your sales report has not been auto-submitted, please do not take any action. Manual submission of any sales report after the 11:59 p.m. ET submission deadline will be recognized by the system as a late authorization. There will be no late authorization penalty for an un-submitted “No Sales” report that becomes auto-authorized by ARC.
