Tip of the Week: How to save your data when using the Internet Sales Summary tool

Accessing your sales report data through the Internet Sales Summary (ISS) tool provides multiple searches and save functions. Internet Sales Summary reports are available three days after the PED date of your sales report and are accessible for up to two years. During that time you may choose a variety of options to save the data.

Print: Enables you to print the entire sales report, a single page or range of pages of a sales report. Go to "File" then "Page Setup," or click on the "Print" button. Be sure you set up the page to print landscape. Remove any header or footer.

Download: Enables you to save a report on your hard drive, thumb drive or disk. Go to "File" then "Save As," or or click on the "Download" button. Choose the specific format. Downloading the data will allow you to save your data beyond the two-year history of ISS.

Copy: Use this option to copy/paste parts of a sales report to email or Word document. Highlight the data to be copied. Move to your email or Word document and go to "Edit," "Copy" and then "Paste Special Unformatted Text."

If you need older sales report data, you may be interested in the ARC Transaction History File, which provides settled and voided transaction information for all PEDs, up to the previous 39 months. This data is available for purchase on CD, which comes with free viewer software. You can import the data into several popular software programs, such as Microsoft Excel and Access, to create reports, manage, sort and analyze as needed
