Hunnu Air No Longer Accepts UATP

Effective with sales issued on Monday, April 6, 2015 (PED 04/12/15), Hunnu Air (861/MR) will no longer accept UATP as a form of payment through ARC.


Quarterly Subscription Fee: Travel Agency Service Fees (TASF)

Just a friendly reminder that the $23.99 quarterly subscription fee (1st quarter of 2015, PEDs 01/04/15 through 03/29/15) for travel agency service fees will be debited from your designated ARC account on or after Thursday, April 16, 2015.

Only locations that issued a TASF in the quarter will be charged the fee. If your agency is signed up for TASF but remained inactive during the quarter, there will be no quarterly fee charged.


2015 Quarterly Transaction Fees – 1st Quarter

Don't forget about the agent/CTD transaction fee that is assessed on a quarterly basis. In 2015, the quarterly fee is set at $0.017 per transaction. An agency reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed a transaction fee. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions (per entity). A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against your ARC designated bank account on or after April 23, 2015. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.

ATTENTION: New Web Browser and Operating System Requirements for ARC Users

Data security is of the utmost importance to ARC. To that end, effective August 1, 2015, access to ARC’s tools (e.g., My ARC, IAR, Agency Memo Manager, DRS, etc.) will be limited to users of ARC approved web browsers and operating systems.

ARC is implementing this initiative, as not all web browsers and operating systems offer the same level of security. This is especially true of older operating systems, such as Windows XP, that are no longer supported by the manufacturer. In the absence of manufacturer provided security patches and updates to fight off viruses, spyware and other malicious software, your system becomes highly vulnerable to attacks and infections. Ensuring that the web browser, operating system and tools you use are up-to-date will not only help protect ARC’s systems, but will also help prevent your business from being exploited by cyber criminals.

Below you will find a list of approved web browsers and operating systems you may use to access ARC’s systems.

PC/Mac Operating Systems

  • Windows Vista SP2 or Higher (includes Windows 7, 8 and 8.1)
  • OSX 10.8 or Higher (includes v10.9 and 10.10)

Web Browsers

  • Internet Explorer – Version 9 or higher
  • Safari – Version 6 or higher
  • Google Chrome – Version 40 or higher
  • Firefox – Version 34 or higher
  • Opera – Version 27 or higher

Mobile Platforms – Operating Systems with Native (built in) Web Browsers

  • Android 5.0 or higher with native browser
  • iOS 8.1 or higher with native browser

While the majority of ARC agents are currently using approved browsers and operating systems, some are not. As a result, over the course of the next few weeks ARC will be reaching out to those affected.

Before upgrading your operating system, we strongly recommend that you consult with your IT support desk, or if you don’t have one, we suggest you consult with an IT professional.

Tip of the Week: My ARC – Self Password Reset

Can't remember your password? Do you think someone logged in to your My ARC account without your permission?

Rest assured, you can reset your password yourself, and you don't have to contact ARC's Customer Care Center to do it.

(NOTE: If you have received the message that your account has been locked, you will need to contact the Customer Care Center at 855-816-8003.)

The following steps will allow you to create a new password for My ARC and ensure that your account is secure once again.

To self-reset your password:

  1. Visit www.arccorp.com.
  2. In the My ARC Login window, below the Log In button, click on "Password."
  3. Enter your username and email address that is associated with your account.
  4. Click the "Continue" button.
  5. Answer your three security questions and click the "Continue" button.
  6. Enter your new password and click the "Continue" button.

You're all done. Your password is now reset.
