American Airlines (AA) is getting ready for upcoming steps in AA integration.
As part of American Airlines merger process, AA will consolidate its reservations systems to the Sabre platform later this year. As AA prepares for this next integration step, they've identified a way to help ensure your clients have a smooth travel journey.
For new reservations made for travel beginning October 1, 2015, on US Airways flights (US or US*), please validate on American Airlines 001 ticket stock rather than US Airways 037 ticket stock.
This will help make sure reservations are successfully migrated from the US Airways Shares reservation system when AA completes the integration of AA systems by the end of 2015. This request doesn't change the way you shop and book US Airways flights. Processing voluntary exchanges on the original validating carrier will also work the same as it does today.
Booking an AAdvantage or Dividend Miles elite status member?
If your client is requesting an upgrade, be sure to book the client as you normally do. (American-marketed and -operated flights for an upgrade on American flights and US Airways-marketed and -operated flights for an upgrade on US Airways flights.)
Please follow these instructions to override the validating airline to AA 001 in each GDS.

ARC's Transaction History File containing your organization's transaction data for all of 2012 is now available on CD. Beginning in April 2015, ARC will begin purging the oldest data from ARC's Document Retrieval Service (DRS), which provides online access to the past 39 months of your ticketed transaction data.
ARC's Transaction History File provides you with your settled and voided transaction information for all PEDs in 2012. It comes equipped with free viewer software that allows you to easily search for a specific transaction, view it on screen and print it onto a single page. Plus, the software is self-contained—there's nothing to install.
You can import the Transaction History File into several software programs, such as Microsoft Excel and Access, to create reports and manage, sort and analyze the data as needed.
