Hunnu Air (MR/861) will join ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on Monday, April 14, 2014 (PED 04/20/14).
Previously known as Mongolian Airlines, Hunnu Air was established September 2011. It is the largest private airline, and the only carrier in Mongolia serving both domestic and major international destinations.
Currently, Hunnu Air operates scheduled flights to nine destinations in Mongolia, including: Dalanzadgad (DLZ), Murun (MXV), Choibalsan (COQ), Hovd (HVD), Altai (LTI), Bayankhongor (BYN), Hovdyn Bulgan (HBU) and Donoi (ULZ); two destinations in China (Manzhouli and Hailer); as well as international service to Hong Kong and Bangkok.
Hunnu Air operates two Airbus A319-100 in a two-class configuration (12 business and 108 economy) and three Fokker 50s in an all economy class layout. New international service is planned to Shanghai and Paris in the second quarter of 2014, and the airline is acquiring a new Airbus A-330-200 aircraft to facilitate the route.
Hunnu Air has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Hunnu Air. The airline accepts cash only as the form of payment at this time.

Did you know that there is only one coupon when refunding a travel agency service fee (TASF)? If you are not refunding the full amount, you will not be able to return the remaining balance via IAR later. You will have to refund the balance due to the customer via a check.
Occasionally, a ticket is sent to IAR containing a tax code that is invalid or is unapproved. IAR cannot accept invalid or unapproved tax codes and will assign an error status to the transaction.
Recently, there has been an increase in the receipt of transactions with a tax code of "DU," which is not valid for use. If the amount represented by the DU tax code is intended to be a penalty, the amount must be listed in IAR as a penalty—not as a tax. Should one of your GDS auto-priced tickets contain a DU tax code, please contact your GDS representative.
