Emergency Document Orders During the Thanksgiving Holiday
Emergency orders placed Wednesday, Nov. 27 before 4 p.m. EST will ship the same day and arrive on Monday, Dec. 2. Second-day orders placed on Wednesday, Nov. 27 before 4 p.m. EST will arrive Tuesday, Dec. 3. Please place your document order early to avoid delays. Aerocon (A4/702) will join ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 (PED Dec. 1, 2013).
Aerocon is a Bolivian domestic airline that started operations in 2005. Aerocon's national office is located in Santa Cruz del la Sierra, and the carrier offers flights between the following cities: Santa Cruz, Trinidad, La Paz, Riberalta, Guayaramerín, Yacuíba, Cochabamba, Tarija, Cobija, Oruro, Potosí, Sucre and Puerto Suárez.
Aerocon is available in Sabre, and the "S" sales class is enabled for ARC tickets. Aerocon is offering 5 percent sales commission on published fares to ARC accredited agents on all tickets issued on their stock (A4/702).
At this time, Aerocon accepts cash as the only form of payment through ARC, but will accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express in the near future.
Aerocon has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Aerocon, unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier.

Due to the acquisition of TRIP Linhas Aéreas (TRIP T4/661) by Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (Azul AD/577), effective Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 (PED Dec. 1, 2013), the TRIP carrier code of T4/661 will be deleted from ARC and the Azul (AD/577) carrier code will be activated for ticketing and settlement via ARC.
Azul Airlines is now the largest regional airline in South America, is privately owned and is based in Barueri, Brazil. Azul operates scheduled service to 103 domestic destinations in the following regions of Brazil:
Azul operates a fleet of 72 aircrafts comprised of Embraer 190s and 195s, as well as ATR 42s. Azul is displayed in Amadeus, Worldspan, Galileo and Apollo. Fraudsters are unusually active on holiday weekends (and sometimes the weekend before a holiday!). With Thanksgiving coming up quickly, be on the lookout for phishing emails. Recent phishing emails include the following subjects:
Phishing emails instruct you to click on the link(s) to confirm your credentials or to check on your client's booking. In all the examples, the links lead to a replica of your GDS login screen. You may believe it's real, but it's not.
Never enter your GDS login ID or password through an email!
Q: What should I do now?
A: Ask employees and independent contractors if they "confirmed" their login IDs or logged in to your GDS believing that the email was authentic. If they did, have them immediately change their GDS password, and then contact your GDS for any further instructions they may have for you.
Q: What should I do on the weekends and during the holiday?
A: Carefully monitor your booking and ticketing in your GDS the weekend before Thanksgiving and during the long Thanksgiving weekend. If you find unauthorized or stolen tickets or bookings, immediately attempt to void them through the GDS, and contact your GDS for further instructions. Immediately change the password of the employee or independent contractor whose credentials were used to issue the tickets. If you find unauthorized or stolen tickets/bookings, please contact ARC's Fraud Prevention team for additional important information at email@example.com or (855) 358-0393.

With regard to the submission of Accreditation applications and requests, if you require your applications to be processed by year-end, please ensure to submit them as soon as possible, as we cannot guarantee requests for expedited processing. Why do I have to log in to My ARC so frequently?
Every time I come back to my computer, my session has ended!
Can I increase the length of inactivity and remain logged in to My ARC?
ARC is a PCI-compliant company. Due to security reasons and PCI compliance rules, we can only allow 15 minutes of idle time in our systems. Once your account has reached the 15-minute limit with no activity, it is a security requirement that a new log in is needed to access your session.
