Emergency Document Orders During the Thanksgiving Holiday
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, ARC will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. Emergency orders placed Wednesday, Nov. 27 before 4 p.m. EST will ship the same day and arrive on Monday, Dec. 2. Second-day orders placed on Wednesday, Nov. 27 before 4 p.m. EST will arrive Tuesday, Dec. 3. Please place your document order early to avoid delays. Fraudsters are unusually active on holiday weekends (and sometimes the weekend before a holiday!). With Thanksgiving coming up quickly, be on the lookout for phishing emails. Recent phishing emails include the following subjects:
Phishing emails instruct you to click on the link(s) to confirm your credentials or to check on your client's booking. In all the examples, the links lead to a replica of your GDS login screen. You may believe it's real, but it's not!
Never enter your GDS login ID or password through an email!

As the holidays approach, please keep the following dates in mind with regards to processing by the Accreditation Services department:
Regarding the submission of Accreditation applications and requests: If you require to have your applications processed by year end, please ensure to submit them as soon as possible as we cannot guarantee requests for expedited processing. At this time, Accreditation is working diligently to review and process all currently submitted applications in accordance with our service level agreements.

The purpose of the credit card chargeback policy is to provide travel agents with information necessary to avoid liability from fraud-related credit card chargebacks.
Always follow the instructions and procedures in Section 6 of the
ARC Industry Agents' Handbook (IAH).
Always validate the credit card expiration date and effective date.
Always obtain an approval code from the credit card company.
Following proper procedures for all credit card sales will offer the best protection in the event of a credit card chargeback. For additional information, refer to Section 6 of the IAH - Credit Card Acceptance Procedures, Credit Card Chargeback Policy and Risk Management Best Practices.
