ARC Launches New Communications Center for Agents

We're pleased to announce the launch of an online communications center where travel agents can verify and update their contact information, as well as personalize correspondence type and frequency of correspondence. Created specifically for agency employees, the ARC Agent Profile has no relation to the annual reaffirmation required for travel agencies under the updated Agent Reporting Agreement.

Agent information will be used solely for customizing ARC communications to fit the particular needs and interests of each individual agent. For example, based on agent-provided information, ARC Agent Profile will enable ARC to send information on exclusive product development opportunities, event invitations, important updates, and notices about special commissionable products from ARC MarketPlace. No information will be shared with third parties, although there is an opt-in choice if an agent desires to receive timely third-party information.

Agents can create and update their profile and communications preferences at any time by visiting https://agentprofile.arccorp.com/. Need help? Please contact the Customer Care Center at
(855) 816-8003 or ccchelp@arccorp.com.

Tip of the Week: Did You Forget to Claim Commission on a Ticket?

Did you forget to claim commission on a ticket? If you find yourself in this predicament, here are two solutions that may assist you in rectifying the situation (depending on the dollar amount of the commission).

If the commission is $25 or less, you can perform an Agent Automated Deduction (AAD) in Interactive Agent Reporting (IAR). Log in to your sales report, click the "Add" tab, choose "TD-AAD" and type in the ticket number on the right side. Click "Submit," and IAR will bring up a screen where you can input the dollar amount of the commission that should have been claimed on the ticket.

If the commission that you failed to claim was more than $25 (or the ticket was reported more than 12 PEDs ago), you must submit a Sales Summary Adjustment Request form (SSAR) directly to the validating carrier. Speak with the carrier to confirm how they require the form to be completed and how it should be sent to them. If you do not have an SSAR, you can print one directly from the Industry Agents Handbook (IAH), section 10, sub-section 15 (ARC Documents), form number 1282.

A link to the online IAH is here.
