Fraudsters are unusually active on holiday weekends (and sometimes the weekends before the holidays). With Labor Day weekend coming up quickly, be on the lookout for phishing emails. Recent phishing emails have included the following subjects:
Phishing emails instruct you to click on a link to confirm your credentials or to check on your client's booking. In all the examples, the links lead to a replica of your GDS login screen. You may believe it's real, but it is not!
**Never enter your GDS login ID or password through an email!**
What should you do?
Examples of phishing emails and other valuable information can be found on ARC's Fraud Prevention section on My ARC. Please circulate these fraud alerts to everyone who has access to your GDS account. If you believe you have received a phishing email, please forward the email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject: Possible Phishing Email.
Effective with sales issued on Monday, August 19 (PED August 25, 2013), Xiamen Airlines (731/MF) will begin accepting American Express as a form of payment through ARC.
Effective with sales issued on Monday, August 12 (PED August 18, 2013), JetBlue (279/B6) will accept JCB as a form of payment through ARC.
