Update to Memo Manager

On June 13, we made some updates to Memo Manager to allow for better tracking and classification of memos. While you will notice a change to the TRS memo option, there is no change in overall functionality and, therefore, no impact to your current business processes.

Tip of the Week: Credit Card Chargeback Policy

The purpose of the credit card chargeback policy is to provide travel agents with information necessary to avoid liability from fraud-related credit card chargebacks.

  • Always follow the instructions and procedures in Section 8 of the ARC Industry Agents' Handbook (IAH).
  • Always validate the credit card expiration date and effective date.
  • Always obtain an approval code from the credit card company.

Following proper procedures for all credit card sales will offer the best protection in the event of a credit card chargeback. For additional information, refer to Section 8.4 of the IAH - Credit Card Acceptance and Chargeback Information.
