Silver Airways (3M/449) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales on June 8 (PED June 9, 2013).
Silver Airways is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (FLL), and will provide service under its own brand for the first time. However, it will continue to operate some routes exclusively under the United Express brand from United's hubs in Cleveland, Ohio (CLE), and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Virginia.
Silver Airways will offer its branded service to Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Ft. Myers, Key West, Pensacola, Tallahassee, and Gainesville in Florida. The airline also will serve Bimini, Marsh Harbour, Eleuthera, Freeport (Grand Bahama Island), Governor's Harbour, Georgetown, and Treasure Cay in The Bahamas.
Additionally, Silver Airways will operate from its Atlanta, Ga., hub to Muscle Shoals, Ala.; Greenville, Laurel/Hattiesburg, Meridian, and Tupelo, Miss.; Greenbrier/Lewisburg, W.Va.; Macon, Ga.; and Orlando, Fla.
Silver Airways has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as Silver Airways agents unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. At this time, Silver Airways accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash as valid forms of payment.

Two airlines announced they are now accepting credit cards, as well as cash, as valid forms of payment through ARC.
Hong Kong Airlines (HX/851-4) accepts UATP, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. XL Airways France (SE/473-4) accepts Visa and MasterCard.
The May 20 issue of TAC reported Air Méditerranée had joined ARC as a participating carrier. However, the article listed an incorrect email address as a point of contact. The correct contact information for Air Méditerranée is:

Many accreditation applications that were once submitted in paper form now are handled electronically through the Accreditation Tool. You can access the Accreditation Tool from your My ARC toolbox.
Through this new Web-based tool, you can submit the following applications currently active in the Accreditation Tool. Please note: Former paper form numbers are listed in parentheses, although paper forms no longer are available in the online forms catalog.
Please note that only Primary Administrator user IDs automatically have access to the Accreditation Tool. Any other type of user ID must request access to the tool from a Primary Administrator.
