ARC Specialist Training and Certification Class

Do you want the opportunity to earn or renew your ARC Specialist Certificate?

ARC will provide the ARC Specialist Training class at ARC headquarters in Arlington, Va., from March 12 to 15, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

ARC developed the ARC Specialist Training and Certification program with the help of industry representatives from the travel agent and carrier communities. This program provides education on ARC's policies, procedures, products and services. In class, you will participate in written and verbal exercises as well as group discussions. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Those who pass the exam will receive an ARC Specialist Certificate.

Hong Kong Airlines (851/HX) Will Begin Accepting UATP

Effective immediately, Hong Kong Airlines (851/HX) will accept UATP as a form of payment through ARC. You can ticket Hong Kong Airlines in Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo and Worldspan. The airline also accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard.

Tip of the Week: Submitting Accreditation Applications Electronically

Did you miss the pre-launch webinars that provided an introduction to the new ARC Accreditation Tool? You can access the Accreditation Tool from your My ARC toolbox. Here is a summary and highlights of what you can accomplish using this new web-based tool.

You will be able to:

  • Submit the following applications currently active in the Accreditation Tool (former paper form numbers listed in parentheses; paper forms no longer available in the online forms catalog):
    • Major and minor address changes (paper form 608 or 618)
    • Bank account change (paper form 614)
    • Bank account access (no paper form)
    • DBA name change (paper form 606)
    • File information request (paper form 621)
    • Office classification (paper form 603)
    • Less than 30% ownership change (paper form 619)
    • Officer change (paper form 619)
    • Change in personnel (paper form 619)
    • Change tax ID (paper form 618)
    • Ticket stock reserve location change (no paper form)
    • Ticket stock reserve access (no paper form)
  • Check the status of submitted applications.
  • Attach required documentation electronically.
  • View up to 39 months history of applications submitted via the Accreditation Tool.

Please note that only Primary Administrator user IDs automatically have access to this tool. Any other type of user ID must request access to the tool from a Primary Administrator.
