Aeroflot Accepts Discover Card

Effective with sales issued on Monday, November 5 (PED November 11, 2012), Aeroflot (555/SU) will begin accepting Discover Card as a form of payment through ARC.


Seaborne Airlines Accepts Visa and MasterCard

Effective with sales issued on Monday, November 5 (PED November 11, 2012), Seaborne Airlines (376/BB) will begin accepting Visa and MasterCard as forms of payments through ARC.


ARC Specialist Training and Certification Class

Do you want the opportunity to earn or renew your ARC Specialist Certificate?

The ARC Specialist Training class will be provided at ARC's headquarters in Arlington, Virginia from December 4-7.

ARC developed the ARC Specialist Training and Certification program with the help of industry representatives from the travel agent and carrier communities. This program provides education on ARC's policies, procedures, products, and services. In class you will participate in written and verbal exercises as well as group discussions. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, and an ARC Specialist Certificate will be presented to those who pass the exam.

Tip of the Week: Receiving Credit Memo Payments in Memo Manager

Do you have an unpaid credit memo in Memo Manager? To complete the payment process, you must open the credit memo and select Pay Full. The payment will be sent to your IAR Sales Report and will be paid to the agency as cash.

At the Memo Detail screen:

  • Select Pay Full.
  • Once selected, Memo Manager - Save displays the message, "Accepted amount is X.XX. Are you sure you want to accept this memo?"
  • Select Yes, and you will see a confirmation at the top of the screen that the payment was successfully submitted to IAR.
  • Select Cancel to exit the screen without saving changes, and the Memo Detail screen will display.
