EVA Air Implements Electronic Memos

EVA Air (695/BR) announced that effective Monday, October 8, 2012 (PED October 14, 2012) they will discontinue the delivery of paper agency memos through regular mail. EVA Air will now upload memos in ARC's Memo Manager system for resolution and settlement.

BMI Announces Deletion from ARC

As a result of the BA/BMI merger, BMI (236/BD) will delete from ARC effective Monday, October 29, 2012 (PED November 5, 2012). Therefore, ARC will cease processing all 236/BD transactions in IAR, including refunds and exchanges effective Monday, October 29, 2012 (PED November 5, 2012). Agents are encouraged to submit all outstanding 236/BD transactions prior to the deletion date.

After 236/BD deletion from ARC, BA requests agents to handle transactions as follows:

UA Reopens CO/005 Memo Processing in IAR

In order to support the convenience of Memo Manager for all customers, effective Monday, October 15, 2012 (PED October 21, 2012) UA will reopen IAR to process CO/005 validated credit and debit memos. Agents may now use Memo Manager for settlement of any outstanding CO/005 memos.

2012 Quarterly Transaction Fees - 3rd Quarter

This is a reminder about the agent/CTD transaction fee that is assessed on a quarterly basis. In 2012, the quarterly fee is set at $.017 per transaction. An agency reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed a transaction fee. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions (per entity). A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn against your ARC designated bank account on or after October 18. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.

Did you know you can you make online credit card payments for accreditation applications? It's simple, fast and convenient.

To access online payments, click on the "online payment" link found in each of the accreditations applications. From the drop-down list you can select your application and its associated fee.

Note: It is also possible to pay by check, but payment by fax is no longer an option.
