Senegal Airlines Joins ARC

Senegal Airlines (440-6/DN) has joined ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on Sept. 10 (PED September 16, 2012). Senegal Airlines is a regional carrier operating a scheduled domestic network and flights to neighboring countries.

With headquarters at Leopold Sedar Senghor Airport in Dakar, Senegal (DKR), Senegal Airlines destinations include Ouagadougou (OUA) in Burkina Faso, Banjul (BJL) in The Gambia, Abidjan (ABJ) in Cote d'Ivoire, Nouakchott (NKC) in Mauritania, and Bamako (BKO) in Mali. Senegal Airlines operates Airbus A320 aircrafts.

Senegal Airlines is offering 5 percent commission on published fares to ARC accredited agents on all tickets validated on DN/440. The airline is displayed in Amadeus, and Sabre and/or Worldspan will be announced by the end of September.

Senegal Airlines has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Senegal Airlines unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. At this time, Senegal Airlines accepts cash as the only form of payment.

Avior Airlines Now Accepts American Express

Effective with sales issued on Monday, Sept. 10 (PED September 16, 2012), Avior Airlines (742/9V) will begin accepting American Express as a form of payment through ARC.

$10,000 Transaction Limits Through ARC

You can charge up to $10,000 per transaction when you process your service fees and other travel-related charges via ARC. The transaction limit was increased from $500 to $10,000 in 2011. We accept all major credit cards and the UATP card.

ARC Specialist Training and Certification Class

Do you want the opportunity to earn or renew your ARC Specialist Certificate? The ARC Specialist Training class will be provided Sept. 25-28 at ARC's headquarters in Arlington, Va.

ARC developed the ARC Specialist Training and Certification program with the help of industry representatives from the travel agent and carrier communities. This program provides education on ARC's policies, procedures, products, and services. You will participate in written and verbal exercises as well as group discussions. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, and an ARC Specialist Certificate will be presented to those who pass the exam.

Tip of the Week: ARC Document Ordering System Searches

Do you know that you can search for previous ticket stock orders in the Document Ordering System (DOS)? To search for previous ticket stock orders:

  • Log into DOS.
  • On the left side of the home page, click the Order Status button.
  • Select an option from the Search By drop down menu.
  • Click the All Orders radio button.
  • Enter appropriate information in the Search Criteria field.
  • Click the Search button.

Please remember that regular searches will go back 45 days. For searches up to two years, you must go to the Advanced Search screen by clicking on the Advanced Search link. For ticket stock history or previous orders for more than two years, please contact ARC's Customer Care Center for assistance at (855) 816-8003 or ccchelp@arccorp.com.
