Avior Airlines Accepts Visa and MasterCard

Effective with sales issued on Monday, September 03, 2012 (PED Sept. 09, 2012), Avior Airlines (742/9V) will begin accepting Visa and MasterCard as forms of payments through ARC.

Summer 2012 was a busy time for fraud!

It might have been summer, but the fraudsters certainly didn't take a vacation! Over the past three months, ARC alerted agents to several different types of fraud:

  • June - Phishing Emails Targeting Travel Agents
  • July - Fraudsters Posing as Employees or Corporate Reps
  • August - Domestic Tickets for Family Members Needing to Travel Immediately

Learn more about identifying and preventing fraud on ARC's fraud prevention resource page. We'll guide you to our fraud alerts, e-ticket security information, credit card red flags, credit card acceptance and chargeback prevention information, and much, much more. If you haven't had time to review recent fraud alerts, take some time now to read and distribute them to everyone in your agency. Log into your My ARC account at www.arccorp.com, find the Customer Support tab at the top, and click it to navigate to the fraud prevention resources.

If you have received fraudulent emails or calls, contact ARC's Fraud Prevention department at fifp@arccorp.com or (703) 816-8137.
