Independence Day Holiday Information

  • Sales Report Submission

    ARC's offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observation of Independence Day. This will have no impact on the sales report submission deadlines.

  • Ticket Void Schedule

    Please note that the GDS void date/IAR reconciliation date for transactions issued Tuesday, July 3 is Thursday, July 5.

  • Placing Emergency Document Requisitions Orders Before Independence Day Holiday

    To ensure that it is received before Tuesday, July 3, your order should be placed in advance of the 4 p.m. cut-off on Monday, July 2.

    Any emergency orders placed on Tuesday, July 3, will not be delivered until Thursday, July 5. Please order your stock accordingly. Next-day air orders entered after the cut-off will not be delivered until Friday, July 6.

2012 Quarterly Transaction Fees - Second Quarter

This is a reminder that the agent/CTD transaction fee is assessed on a quarterly basis. In 2012, the quarterly fee is set at $.017 per transaction. Agencies reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions (per entity). A separate debit for this fee will be drawn on or after July 19, 2012, against your ARC designated bank account. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.

Phishing Emails and Compromised Credit Card Schemes Continue to Plague Agents

At least three new incidents of phishing emails have been reported in June. Remember - never log into your GDS through an email using your ID and password! These transactions are issued for immediate departure (same or next day), usually to or from African airports (CMN, DKR, ACC, LOS, etc.), but could depart from any international gateway.

Fraudsters are purchasing tickets using compromised credit cards appearing to be requested by agents' corporate accounts. Illegitimate emails appearing to be from a corporate account's domain (e.g., may also include the fake customer's real email address (e.g., Other clues to look for are immediate departure and city pairings including LOS, ACC, CMN, DKR or other African airports.

Tip of the Week: My ARC Password Reset

You can change your My ARC password at any time (as long as you can still log in with your existing password). You don't need to wait for your password to expire or for a system prompt to change your password. Just follow these simple steps.

  • Log in to My ARC with your current password.
  • Click on "Details" link in the "Your Profile" box on the left side.
  • Once the "Profile Details" screen appears, click on "Password". A drop-down menu will appear with fields for your current password and new password.
  • Click "Save" to submit your changes.
