United Airlines Memo Manager Update

United Airlines (s-UA/016) and Continental Airlines (s-CO/005) are streamlining their debit memo process and transitioning to a common revenue accounting platform, providing the groundwork for the joint implementation of ARC Memo Manager around March 2012. In the interim, debit memo disputes and related correspondence are being channeled to a centralized location in Houston.

Effective Feb. 17, all s-UA/016 debit memos should be directed to debitmemos@united.com. All s-CO/005 memos should be handled through ARC Memo Manager.

Tip of the Week - Are you considering a change in ownership or entity type?

There are five different types of ownership changes involving a reallocation of shares, a change of entity type (or both).

  • If the agency will have a transfer of 30 or more percent of its shares, with no new shareholders, please use Form 651.
  • If the agency will have a transfer of 30 percent of its shares with new shareholders, please use Form 652.
  • If the agency will be changing its entity type with no new owners, please use Form 653.
  • If the agency will be purchasing an existing ARC agency to add as a branch, please use Form 654.
  • If the agency will be changing its ownership and entity type, please use Form 655.
