Coming Soon to ARC Memo Manager - United Airlines

United Airlines (UA/016) has announced plans to implement ARC Memo Manager (AMM), effective later this year. Upon activation, all newly issued United Airlines memos will be distributed electronically through AMM. In addition, United Airlines announced plans to upload historical, subsidiary United Airlines data for open memos issued prior to the AMM implementation date. Look for more communications regarding this launch in the coming weeks.

Important Update Concerning Spanair Credit Card Refunds

Spanair is no longer able to process Visa, MasterCard or American Express transactions. As a result, ARC has errored in IAR all Spanair refund transactions with Visa, MasterCard or American Express as the form of payment for PED Jan. 29, 2012 and PED Feb. 5, 2012. ARC will continue to process cash refunds until further notice.

For questions concerning refunds, agents can direct customers to their credit card issuer or to Spanair.

Malev Hungarian Airlines Ceases Operations

Malev Hungarian Airlines (MA/182) has ceased operations. Therefore, effective immediately ARC will suspend the processing of transactions in IAR as follows:

Sales/Exchanges - All sale and exchange transactions for both cash and credit card forms of payment are suspended.

Refunds - All cash refunds are suspended. Credit card refunds are suspended with the exception of American Express and UATP. For more information regarding refunds, cardholders should contact the credit card issuer.

Memos - Both credit and debit memos are suspended.

ARC will keep agents up to date as this situation develops.
