ARC Christmas and New Year's Holiday Information

ARC's offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 and Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 in observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays. In addition, the Customer Care Center will operate on a reduced schedule on Friday, Dec. 23 - from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Holiday Sales Report Submission

Agencies will have an extra day to submit their sales reports. The weekly sales report for PED 25DEC11 must be authorized by midnight, Wednesday, Dec. 28. The weekly sales report for PED 01JAN12 must be authorized by midnight, Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Holiday Ticket Modification/Voiding Schedule

Agencies will have an extra day to modify tickets issued the Friday prior to the holiday closures.

Friday, Dec. 23: GDS Void/IAR Reconciliation Date - Tuesday, Dec. 27
Friday, Dec. 30: GDS Void/IAR Reconciliation Date - Tuesday, Jan. 3

Emergency Document Orders During the Christmas Holiday

Orders placed Friday, Dec. 23 will not be processed until Monday, Dec. 26.

Next Day Delivery - Delivered on Tuesday, Dec. 27
Second Day Delivery - Delivered on Wednesday, Dec. 28

Emergency Document Orders Prior to New Year's Day

The RR Donnelly warehouse will be closed Friday, Dec. 30. UPS will be closed Monday, Jan. 2. Orders placed Thursday, December 29 will not be processed until Tuesday, Jan. 3.

2012 Annual Agency Location and Quarterly Transaction Fees

We would like to remind you that the 2012 annual agent/CTD location fee of $195 will be collected for each of your office locations via electronic draft from your designated bank account on or after Jan. 19, 2012. It will appear on your bank statement as ARC Core Participation Fee. A separate draft of $195 will be issued for each active agency and STP location of record as of Jan. 8, 2012. For consolidated drafting agents, only one draft will be assessed for all of your ARC approved locations.

Quarterly Transaction Fees

In the fourth quarter of 2011, the quarterly agent/CTD transaction fee is set at $.017 per transaction. Agencies reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions (per entity). A separate debit for this fee will be drawn on or after Jan. 19, 2012, against your ARC designated bank account. Only one draft will be assessed for consolidated drafting agents. Please note that there will be no change in the quarterly transaction fee structure for 2012.

ARC ATB Usage Fee - Revised Effective Date

There has been a one-day delay in the implementation of the ARC ATB usage fee increase. Now effective Jan. 4, 2012, the ARC ATB usage fee will be increased to $33.40 per box. ARC is committed to providing paper ticket documents in a cost-effective manner. However, as printing volume continues to decline, costs to produce paper tickets increase. The document handling fee will remain $7.50.

  • ARC evaluates the usage of ATB stock twice yearly, and reserves the right to adjust document fees in the future to reflect the ratio of ATB stock used for non-traffic documents.
  • ARC Mini Itins can be used with some GDSs to print passenger receipts and itineraries. Learn more.

Tip of the Week - Document Retrieval Service Agency Registration

Are you aware that you can view documents up to 39 months old in Document Retrieval Service (DRS)? You can retrieve entire sales reports in DRS or search documents by issue date, passenger name or credit card number. In order to do so, your agency must first register for DRS. The agency will appoint a Security Manager (similar to a My ARC Primary Administrator), who can create DRS user IDs and re-set DRS passwords for agency employees. If your agency has not registered for DRS, call CCC today to receive the application and begin the registration process. Applications are normally approved within 48 hours of receipt, provided the application has been completed in full and is signed by the agency's correct, authorized signee.
