Important Memorial Day Holiday Information

Sales Report Submission

ARC's offices will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2011, in observance of Memorial Day, resulting in the following schedule changes:

  • Sales Report Submissions Extended to Midnight June 1
    Agencies and CTDs will have an extra day to prepare the sales report for PED 5/29/11. Your weekly sales report must be authorized by midnight Wednesday, June 1, 2011.
  • Ticket Modification/Voiding Schedule
    Please note the following extension dates to modify and reconcile IAR transactions issued Friday, May 27 - Sunday May 29. GDS/IAR Void Extension Date - Tuesday, May 31
  • Customer Care Center Hours
    Tuesday, May 31- Wednesday, June 1 - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern Thursday, June 2 - Friday, June 3 - 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM Eastern
  • Placing Emergency Document Requisitions Orders Before Memorial Day Holiday
    Your emergency order should be placed in advance of the 4:00 pm cut-off on Thursday, May 26 to ensure that it is received before Tuesday, May 31. Any emergency orders placed on Friday, May 27, will not be delivered until Tuesday, May 31. Please order your stock accordingly.

Tip of the Week: Carrier ET Matrix - Updated

Now that the phased implementation of IAR ET Refund EDIFACT messaging has completed, please refer to the Carrier ET Matrix for the full list of carriers that support IAR ET Voids, ET Refunds and ET Cancel Refunds at www.arccorp.com/forms/ops/doc141.pdf. You can also access this list from www.arccorp.com by looking for 'E-TICKETING MATRICES' under 'TOP RESOURCES'.

Although originally scheduled for IAR ET Refund EDIFACT messaging, the following carriers have temporarily been deactivated until communication issues can be resolved: AZ/055, CA/784, CI/297, MU/781, NZ/086, PR/079, SQ/618.

IAR ET Refund EDIFACT messaging was implemented to help both agencies and carriers by keeping carrier databases synchronized with refunds performed in IAR. IAR is now compliant with industry ticketing resolutions requiring verification of OPEN coupon status in the carrier's electronic ticket database prior to processing a refund. ET refund messaging prevents unauthorized use of e-tickets which have previously been used, refunded, exchanged or voided.
