This is a reminder that the agent/CTD transaction fee is assessed on a quarterly basis. In 2011, the quarterly fee is set at $.017 (1 and 7/10ths of a cent) per transaction. Agencies reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees.
The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.25 million transactions per entity. A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn on or after April 21, 2011, against your ARC designated bank account. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.
Effective with sales issued on Monday, April 04, 2011 (PED 04/10/11), Dutch Antilles (493/9H) will begin accepting Visa and MasterCard as forms of payments through ARC.
Air Canada has announced that they will begin using ARC Memo Manager for Debit and Credit Memos beginning April 13, 2011. When they implement, all memos will be distributed electronically through ARC Memo Manager.

ARC developed the ARC Specialist Program with the help of industry representatives from the travel agent and carrier communities. This program provides education on ARC's policies, procedures, products, and services.
Students participate in written and verbal exercises in addition to group discussions. Students need to bring a battery-powered calculator and writing materials. A certificate of training completion will be presented at the end of the session.
