Virgin America (VX/984) is transitioning to industry standard electronic ticketing and standard reporting/settlement practices through ARC using a phased-in approach by each GDS. The first GDS to transition was Worldspan effective February 1, 2011 (PED 02/06/11). The second was Apollo/Galileo effective February 8, 2011 (PED 02/13/11). Now Sabre will be activated on the evening of April 3, 2011 at 10:00PM (PDT) for PED 4/14/11. Amadeus will be transitioned at a future date and ARC will continue to provide more information as it becomes available. Virgin America accepts American Express, MasterCard, UATP, Visa and Cash as valid forms of payment through ARC. Effective PED, Sunday, April 3, 2011, Island Air will no longer accept American Express as a form of payment through ARC.
Safi Airways (4Q/741) has joined ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on March 28, 2011 (PED 4/03/11). The airline was founded in 2006 by Mr. Rahim Safi and is based in Kabul (KBL) and the administration office is in Dubai. As the first airline in the history of Afghan aviation, Safi Airways has been re-organized to satisfy the strict ICAO rules for scheduled airline.
Safi Airways vision is to make Afghanistan more reachable from all parts of the world. Twice daily flights to Dubai (DXB) with airbus 320 are timed to connect with most European, Asian and American flights. On March 18th, Safi Airways moved its inventory to Amadeus Altea to ensure proper and smooth transactions worldwide.
Safi Airways has elected the General Concurrence Method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Safi Airways unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier.
Currently, Safi Airways accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Cash as a valid form of payment through ARC.

As of Thursday, March 10, the ability to add comments and/or attachments to an entire group of memos at once is a standard feature of Memo Manager. For more details on this update, please reference the MM3 release notes or attend one of our upcoming training sessions.

ARC's Transaction History File containing your organization's transaction data for all of 2008 is available on CD through May 1. After this date, ARC is scheduled to purge the transaction information older than 39 months. Hurry to obtain this information before it is scheduled to be permanently deleted beginning in May.
This file provides you with your settled and voided transaction information for all PEDs in 2008. It comes equipped with FREE viewer software that allows you to easily search for a specific transaction, view it on screen, and print it onto a single page. Plus, the software is self-contained - there's nothing to install.

Have you recently tried to fax supporting documentation to ARC but you've heard a voice mail pick up the other end?
There are some phones that have dual functions in that they act as a fax and a telephone. Please try sending your fax again, but do not pick up the phone/receiver.
ARC's phone system recognizes a fax and therefore, if the receiver is picked up, our system will not recognize that call as an incoming fax but instead will recognize it as a phone call.
If you're faxing from a standalone fax machine, you should not encounter this problem.
