South African Airways Now Accepts Diners Club International

Effective with sales of December 20, 2010 (PED 12/26/10), South African Airways (SA/083) now accepts Diners Club International as a valid form of payment through ARC.


ARC Christmas Holiday Information

ARC's Customer Care Center will be open its normal business hours Monday, December 27 from 9:00am to 9:00pm.

Sales Report Submission

However, ARC's offices will be closed on both Friday, December 24 and Monday, December 27, 2010, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Your weekly sales report for PED 12/26/10 must be authorized by midnight, Tuesday, December 28.

Ticket Modification/Voiding Schedule

Please note the following dates to modify and reconcile IAR transactions issued on Thursday, December 23:

GDS Void/IAR Reconciliation Date - Monday, December 27

Emergency Document Orders During the Christmas Holiday

In observance of the Christmas Holiday, ARC will be closed December 24 & 27, 2010. To ensure that your order is processed in time for the delivery your order should be placed in advance of our 4:00 pm cutoff.

Orders placed Thursday, December 23:

Next Day Delivery - your order will be delivered on Monday, December 27
2nd Day Delivery - your order will be delivered on Tuesday, December 28

Orders placed on Friday, December 24:

Will not be processed until Monday, December 27
Will follow the normal delivery schedule

Tip of the Week: Receiving Payments for Credit Memos in Memo Manager

Do you have a credit memo that you want to accept and receive the payment for? Please remember that to accept a credit memo for payment, you also have to "Pay Full" the credit memo to send it to IAR and therefore receive payment via your weekly IAR report.

At the Memo Detail screen,

  • Click the Pay Full button.
  • Once selected, the Memo Manager - Save screen displays, stating "Accepted amount is 0.00*. Are you sure you want to accept this memo?"
  • Click the Yes button to save the changes.
  • Once selected, you will see a confirmation at the top of the screen that the payment was successfully submitted to IAR.
  • Click the Cancel button to exit the screen without saving changes.
  • Once selected, the Memo Detail screen displays.

*The amount will reflect the "Pay Full" amount of the memo.
