This is a reminder that the agency transaction fee is assessed on a quarterly basis. In 2010, the quarterly fee is set at $.020 (2 cents) per transaction. Agencies reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 2.0 million transactions per entity. A separate debit representing this fee will be drawn on or after April 22, 2010, against your ARC designated bank account. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agencies.
Please note: We kindly ask that you disregard the Quarterly Transaction Fee letter sent to your agency dated April 7, 2010. This letter incorrectly reflects the 2009 transaction fee structure of $.019 per transaction and a ceiling of 1.875 million. Please refer to the subsequent letter dated April 15, 2010 which uses the 2010 fee structure, for the accurate amount being drafted from your bank account.
