Best Practices for Travel Agents with IAR Reporting

Do you have a back-up plan in place with respect to IAR Reporting? Did you know you can access your IAR Report from any PC that is internet accessible?

In the event of a weather event or some other circumstance that may cause you not to be able to make it into your agency, make sure you have a back-up plan to ensure you can still get your report submitted whether there is inclement weather, you're on vacation or just unable to make it into your office.

When creating your back-up plan, here are some things to consider:

  • You can submit your IAR report from any computer that is internet accessible
  • All of ARC's tools are accessible via the internet
  • Have a back-up person in place that is capable of doing the IAR report
  • It is recommended that each user have their own IAR and DRS log-in
  • If you have personnel changes, don't forget to update your My ARC, DRS and Memo Manager administration especially when it involves the Primary Administrators and Security Manager
  • If you are traveling, don't forget any time differences between your destination and ARC. The IAR report is due by 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.

And please remember you have the support of ARC's Customer Care Center to assist you with any reporting-related issues, even if you are submitting your report from an offsite location.

ARC Specialist Training Session At TRAMS TMU

Do you want the opportunity to earn or renew your ARC Specialist Certificate? If so, register now for the TRAMS TMU conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the discounted rate of $125.00. ARC developed the ARC Specialist Program with the help of industry representatives from the travel agent and carrier communities. This program provides education on ARC's policies, procedures, products, and services. Students participate in written and verbal exercises in addition to group discussions. Students need to bring a battery-powered calculator and writing materials. A certificate of training completion will be presented at the end of the session. Tip of the Week - User Names & Passwords

It is not recommended that users share user names and passwords. Each user should have their own individual user name and password for each of the ARC settlement applications.
