Antrak Air (O4/916) has joined ARC, effective with sales of March 9, 2009 (PED 03/15/09).
With headquarters in Accra, Antrak Air operates domestic scheduled flights between Accra and Kumasi, Accra and Tamale, and regionally, to Cotonou in Benin and Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. Antrak Air operates ATR 42-300 aircraft and will be displayed in Sabre and Amadeus.
Antrak Air has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of Antrak Air. Initially, Antrak Air will accept cash as the only form of payment through ARC.
Antrak Air is offering a 5% sales commission on published fares.

The transaction fee is assessed quarterly. In 2009, the fee is $0.019 per transaction. Agencies reporting an aggregate of less than 1,000 transactions per quarter will not be assessed transaction fees. The maximum number of transactions for which an agency can be charged in a quarter is 1.875 million transactions per entity. A separate debit representing the fee will be drawn on or after April 23, 2009 against the account designated by your agency. Only one draft will be issued for consolidated drafting agents.
On April 2, 2009 (PED 04/05/09), IAR will be enhanced to address the occasional issue of unapplied/drop voids. An unapplied or dropped void is a GDS void that is received by IAR after its corresponding sales transaction has been processed and extracted to the carrier. As a result, an agent's effort to void the transaction cannot be applied. The main reasons for this occurrence are due to one or more of the following "timing" issues:
To alleviate this issue, when an unapplied void is received, IAR will automatically create a refund. The refund will display in IAR and will output to the validating carrier. In IAR, the Refund Details screen will display "ARC created document" to indicate the refund was generated by ARC as a result of an unapplied void.
Effective April 1, 2009, Qatar Airways policy will only allow issuance of electronic tickets (ET) for QR-validated transactions and transactions validated on a third party carrier with an itinerary routed on QR.
