Antrak Air Joins ARC

Antrak Air (O4/916) has joined ARC, effective with sales of March 9, 2009 (PED 03/15/09).

With headquarters in Accra, Antrak Air operates domestic scheduled flights between Accra and Kumasi, Accra and Tamale, and regionally, to Cotonou in Benin and Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. Antrak Air operates ATR 42-300 aircraft and will be displayed in Sabre and Amadeus.

Antrak Air has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of Antrak Air. Initially, Antrak Air will accept cash as the only form of payment through ARC.

Antrak Air is offering a 5% sales commission on published fares.

ARC Memo Manager Update

US Airways has announced they will begin using Memo Manager March 9, 2009. When implemented, all newly issued memos will be distributed electronically through Memo Manager. More complete information may be found at www.usairways.com/awa/content/travelplanning/drs/debitmemos.aspx

If you are not already registered, please register to access, view and correspond regarding memos. Please note that paper delivery of US Airways debit memos will end upon implementation.

Credit Card Transaction Reminder

Please remember - in the absence of specific permission you should not use credit cards which have been issued in the name of your agency, your agency's personnel, or any third party who is not the named customer on any ticketing or agency service fee transaction.

These rules are explained further in both the Agent Reporting Agreement (Section VII, K) and in the Travel Agency Service Fee Processing Agreement (Section VII).


ARC Accreditation Mark Reflects New Look

ARC's brand is sporting a new look and various enhanced tools are being rolled out throughout the year. One such tool is the recently released ARC Accreditation Mark. While we recognize that many agents have already incorporated the mark released last year, we wanted to make the updated mark available as soon as possible. We encourage ARC-accredited travel agencies to also use the new mark as soon as possible, even as we continue to support and recognize use of the previous mark until it is phased out.

Accreditation Mark Web & Print Materials Info:

Travel professionals who downloaded the previously released mark for Web use don't need to do a thing - the new one will appear automatically in web applications and still function with ARCCheck®. For those agencies that may be ready to update printed materials however, please be sure to use a new set of marks, available for download at www.arccorp.com/support/arc-accreditation-mark.jsp.

OpenSkies Now Accepts UATP

Effective with sales of March 9, 2009 (PED 03/15/09), OpenSkies (EC/284) accepts UATP as a valid form of payment through ARC.


ARC MarketPlace Training

Training classes for ARC MarketPlace - which will also include information about additional revenue-generating opportunities - are being offered this fall. Each free one-hour interactive training class will be conducted online with audio conferencing through Microsoft Live Meeting. Classes will be led by an ARC instructor and participants can ask questions while viewing and following the instructor's presentation.

Class dates are scheduled to be held once a month throughout 2009.

Forgot your My ARC, Memo Manager, or Agent's Choice password?

Use the self-service password reset feature for all three.

  • On the login screen, click on 'Forgot Password' link
  • Enter your user name
  • Answer your security questions
  • A temporary password is automatically emailed to you from the system
  • Use the temporary password from the email to log-in
  • The system will prompt you to change your password
