ARC Memo Manager Update

Speed Up Your Search Function

If you are using ARC Memo Manager (AMM), you may have noticed sluggish performance. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. One of the primary culprits is using the Search function to pull up a large number of memos. We recently made some changes to AMM that should help with this problem. You should now be able to Search on a large number of memos quicker. As more carriers implement AMM, we will continue to work on making your experience with AMM a good one.

Here is a tip you may find helpful:

Searching for memos - When using the Search function, narrowing the search criteria will help to bring back more targeted results and will make your searches run smoother. The system will start to slow if you are executing a search that results in over 5,000 memos.
Example: Instead of searching on ALL MEMOS search on memos in a particular status from a particular carrier.

Tip of the Week: My ARC Email Options

From the Email Options tab you can specify the type of communications you receive from ARC. In addition, you can select a specific format for the email.

  1. At the My ARC Home page screen,
  2. Click the Edit link located in the upper right-hand corner of User Info box.
  3. Once selected, the Edit Account screen displays set to the User Summary tab.
  4. Click the Email Options tab to access the Email Options screen.
  5. Click the User Research check box to receive messages from ARC regarding participating in user research for ARC products.
  6. Agency and CTD users will see an Industry Provider Communications checkbox. This may be selected only by the Primary Administrator.
  7. Click either the HTML or Text radio button to select an email format.
  8. Click the Save button to submit the request and return to the screen from which the Email Options screen was entered.
  9. Click the Cancel button to cancel the request and return to the screen from which the Email Options screen was entered.
  10. Click the Change link under email Preferences if you want to specify a new email address.
