ARC will be performing system maintenance this coming Sunday December 9, 2007. IAR will not be available from 1:00pm (Eastern) until 7:00am (Eastern) the following day (Monday). Sunday PM BOS files will be processed and available for download on the Monday morning following each outage.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Effective December 9, 2007, BOS Scheduled Tables (AM and PM) that have not been downloaded in the past 45 days by individual users will be deactivated in IAR. Deactivated BOS tables can be re-activated at any time if needed. By deactivating unused tables we expect to realize the following benefits:
Thanks in advance for your understanding and support in this effort to improve BOS processing and availability.
Effective with sales of December 3, 2007 (PED 12/09/07), both Ethiopian Airlines (ET/071) and SATA International (S4/331) accept UATP as a form of payment through ARC.
Can you recognize a "fake" driver's license from another state?
One agency received a faxed copy of a driver's license and credit card (front and back) and the agency bought the fraudster's story and issued various tickets, with no problems - until the debit memos arrived months later.
The "I.D. Checking Guide" is designed to help businesses validate driver's licenses from EVERY state and Canada, federal documents such as passports, military ID cards and immigration documents and bank cards including American Express, Diners Club and Visa.
Although this guide in no way limits an Agent's responsibilities regarding fraud, ARC believes that the "I.D. Checking Guide" is one more valuable and inexpensive resource (less than $30) available to help protect you, your agency, affiliates, etc. from fraudsters.
If the agency described above had compared the faxed copy of the license to the sample in the "I.D. Checking Guide," they may have been able to easily turn away that customer and prevented over $40,000 in chargebacks. Don't be without this valuable resource. As an added resource to help protect your agency, Click Here to purchase the Guide.
The 2008 Processing Schedule is available online. It may be accessed on ARC's corporate website at www.arccorp.com under 'Top Resources' or here.
Please distribute the ARC TAC among staff and colleagues.
