Additional Tax Fields in IAR and in the Back Office System (BOS) File

Effective November 26, 2007, IAR will be enhanced to process up to 99 individual taxes for sales, refunds and exchange transactions, resulting in additional tax fields in IAR. For sales and refund transactions, IAR will display 99 tax fields. For exchange transactions, IAR will display 99 tax fields for both the new and old document(s). The additional taxes processed can be loaded into IAR from the GDS or manually entered by a user.

In addition to IAR, the Back Office System (BOS) Detail file will display up to 99 taxes for sales and refund transactions. Exchange transactions will display up to 99 taxes for each new document.

To ensure a smooth transition, all training materials and online help documents will be updated to reflect this enhancement. For additional information, please refer to IAR Help News and Information.


Air Berlin Joins ARC as Participating Carrier

Air Berlin (AB/745) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales as of October 22, 2007 (PED 10/28/07).

With headquarters in Berlin, Germany, Air Berlin has principle hubs in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Nuremberg, and Palma de Mallorca. Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG and its 100% subsidiary LTU operate a worldwide flight network serving the US airports LAX, LAS, JFK, MIA and Fort Myers, Florida. Air Berlin operates a fleet of Airbus 320-200 & -319, Boeing 737-800, -700, -500 & -300, and Fokker F100.

As Air Berlin has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of the carrier unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. In addition to cash, the carrier accepts American Express, Diners Club and Air Plus forms of payment.

AeroGal Joins ARC as Participating Carrier

AeroGal (2K/547) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales as of October 22, 2007 (PED 10/28/07).

With headquarters in Guayaquil, Ecuador AeroGal serves 12 daily flights between Quito and Guayaquil, one daily flight to Baltra Island which is part of the Galapagos Islands, 5 flights per week from Quito and Guayaquil to San Cristóbal Island, also part of the Galapagos Islands, 2 daily flights Quito-Manta, 2 daily flights Guayaquil-Cuenca, 3 daily flights Quito-Cuenca, 2 daily flights Quito-Bogotá, 3 flights per week Quito-Medellín; and starting December 7, 2007, one daily flight between Guayaquil and Miami.

Winair and Vintage Props & Jets Now Accept Discover

Following review by the Board of Directors of Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), and consultation with the CTD Advisory Group, several changes to the ARC Corporate Travel Department Reporting Agreement ("Agreement") have been approved. The amended Agreement and summary of changes are available for review on ARC's website home page at www.arccorp.com.

Please be advised, in accordance with section XXI of the Agreement ("Memorandum of Agreement and Alternative Means of Concurrence"), these changes will be effective on November 12, 2007. Your continued participation with ARC under the Agreement after the November 12, 2007, effective date will serve as acceptance of the aforementioned amendments.

Forgot your IAR username or password?

Contact your IAR Administrator for username and or password assistance.

To identify who your IAR Administrator is, click on the 'Forgotten your Username or Password?' link on the IAR Login page. By entering your ARC#, you will be provided with the name of your agency's IAR Administrator(s). Your organizations' IAR Administrator will be able to provide your IAR username, and reset your password.
