Notice of Changes to the Agent Reporting Agreement

The Board of Directors of Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), after consultation with travel agency and carrier representatives, has approved a number of changes to the ARC Agent Reporting Agreement ("Agreement"). The amended Agreement and summary of changes are available for review on ARC's home page at and will also be published in future editions of the online Industry Agents' Handbook.

Please be advised, in accordance with section XXV of the Agreement ("Memorandum of Agreement and Alternative Means of Agent Concurrence"), these changes will be effective on November 12, 2007. Your continued participation with ARC under the Agreement after the November 12, 2007, effective date will serve as acceptance of the aforementioned amendments.

ARC is pleased to announce a redesign of its homepage. The new design is targeted to launch on Wednesday, September 19th.

Tip of the Week: Carrier Manual Document Acceptance Chart

ARC publishes a Carrier Manual Document Acceptance Chart that denotes specific carrier's acceptance of manual traffic documents. The chart identifies any carrier restrictions regarding issuance and acceptance of manual documents.

Agents should refer to the chart to ensure that a ticketing carrier's instructions with respect to Manual Traffic Document Acceptance are satisfied. Although ARC continues to process all sales reported by an accredited agent or CTD, failure to issue a traffic document in accordance with the policy of the individual ticketing carrier may result in action being taken by that carrier (e.g. debit memo) or may adversely affect the ticketing carrier's ability to render service to your clients.
