Effective immediately, the second business day for voiding all transactions and for modifying sales transactions has been eliminated from ARC's IAR system.The following summarizes the new void and modification procedures:
There is no change to the modification window for Refunds, Exchanges, MCOs, Debit Memos, Credit Memos, Recall Commission Statements, and Agent Automated Deduction (AAD) transactions. These transactions can continue to be modified until the submission deadline; 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday after the sales report PED. Air Astana (KC/465) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales as of July 23, 2007 (PED 07/29/07). With headquarters in Almaty and Astana City, Kazakhstan, Air Astana serves several domestic routes along with service between Bangkok, Dubai, Delhi, Beijing, Seoul, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, Moscow, Istanbul and Hanover.
Air Astana will be offering ARC-accredited agents a sales commission of 5% on all published fares. As Air Astana has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of the carrier unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. At this time, the carrier accepts American Express, Visa and cash as forms of payment through ARC.

Effective with all testing after July 21, 2007, a new ARC Specialist Question and Answer Pool will be used. ARC Specialist candidates who are planning on testing after July 21 will need the new set of questions for study purposes. The new Specialist Question Pool (Form 26) can be found in the ARC Form Catalog on www.arccorp.com.
Please remember with ARC's Online Document Ordering System, branch offices and STPs must contact the home office to be assigned their branch or STP login ID and password.
