Amendment to the IAR Void and Modification Windows

Beginning on July 21, 2007, the second business day for voiding all transactions and for modifying sales transactions will be eliminated from ARC's IAR system.

The following bullets summarize procedures for void and modification of sales transactions that will be effective on July 21, 2007:

  • All transactions loaded into IAR from the GDS may be voided through the first business day after the issuance of the sale.
  • All transactions manually entered into IAR may be voided the same day of entry into IAR.
  • Sales transactions loaded into IAR from the GDS may be modified through the first business day after the issuance of the sale.
  • Sales transactions manually entered into IAR may be modified the same day of entry into IAR.
  • Commissions on GDS sales transactions may be modified through the first business day after the issuance of the sale.
  • Commissions on sales transactions manually entered into IAR may be modified the same day of entry into IAR.

There is no change to the modification window for Refunds, Exchanges, MCOs, Debit Memos, Credit Memos, Recall Commission Statements, and Agent Automated Deduction (AAD) transactions. These transactions can continue to be modified until the submission deadline; 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday after the sales report PED. In addition, the void and modification window will remain the same for TASF transactions; 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday after the sales report PED.
