Arlington, VA - September 1, 2005 - TACV-Cabo Verde Airlines (696/VR) will join ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales starting Monday, September 5, 2005, giving 22,000 ARC-accredited travel agency and corporate travel department locations the ability to settle VR transactions through ARC's trusted settlement system.
TACV-Cabo Verde Airlines is the flag carrier of the Cape Verde Islands. From their hub in Sal, Cape Verde, they offer twice-weekly service to Boston Logan Airport using B757 aircraft. They also operate service to several European destinations.
As TACV-Cabo Verde Airlines has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, all ARC-accredited agencies are automatically appointed as agents of the carrier. At this time, the carrier accepts cash as the only form of payment.
